With warmer weather finally here, this time of year is often a good opportunity for Property Managers and their clients to tackle important outdoor paint jobs and the like.
We recently encountered that exact situation, but the problem was, the Property Manager was not satisfied with the work from the contractor and did not want to go back to council having spent considerable money on a job that was not up to par.
That’s where Glenn Duxbury entered the picture.
With Glenn’s vast experience in Quality Assurance Services, we were the first call the Property Manager made when they felt uneasy about the paint job. Within a couple days, Glenn was on site to review the situation, as well as the specifications agreed upon, and to provide a thorough report on the findings. It turns out, the work was indeed not up to standard and the Property Manager now had the professional documentation to prove it. After a long phone call to the painting company, they returned to the site shortly after to finish the job properly.
Once they were done, Glenn returned for a final inspection of the paint job and was then able to give it a thumbs up.
With that all taken care of, the property manager was able to confidently return to council with the feedback of a job well done and the final invoice paid to the painters. They were able to put this behind them and move on to the next item on their agenda.
What a relief!
The Property Manager was extremely thankful and the strata residents were pleased to have a fresh coat of paint to show off. Thanks to Glenn’s services, there was no drama with the painting company. With one return visit, everything was taken care of, with no more stress. A true solution to a worrisome problem.
