A home inspection is a professional opinion based on less-than-complete information. It’s like a balance sheet in accounting – snap-shot of just that point in time and anything can change after that and /or getting a check-up from your doctor: It improves your odds of good health but there is no real guarantee or warranty on the future, as YOU are fully responsible. Even though we do our best to find any and all evidence of problems, some issues can only be discovered by living in a home – they cannot always be discovered during a home inspection in the relatively few hours allowed. For example, some roofs and basements only leak when specific weather conditions exist. Some problems will only be discovered when carpets are lifted, furniture is moved or finishes are removed and anything can occur when still occupied by others before you take possession.
As such, we cannot and do not offer a Warranty on the house; however our Promise is to always do our best – if you honor us by permitting us to inspect your intended new home, we “Guarantee” we will give you our very best effort – no compromise – just as if we’re inspecting for Family /Friends.
